    Haven’t they had enough?
It’s been 6 months. They could use some Irish Luck!
    Hang in there!

Probably because all the big trucks. That’s a lot of weight all the time.

Can Michael road handle all those trucks ?

Do you all know Michel Road is one lane and the county has never provided turnouts. I saw an inexperienced driver get stuck in a perilous creekside muddy edge of asphalet, in an attempt to give me room to pass. No cellular signal to call for help.
I live off Michel Road and fear for my safety to go out to keep my doctor’s appointment tomorrow.

All these trucks can just stay home until Mountain Ranch Road is open again, yes stay home. These trucks and other heavy equipment have contributed greatly to the failure of our local roads.
I have first hand heard the contractors taking advantage of this fire clean-up pot of gold, have not “penciled in” the restoration of the roads they have damaged, our private road for sure.
Locals have been imposed upon enough, adding danger upon misery is just too much.

You are all driving on our stretch of Michel Rd. My bridge was damaged during the fire due to heavy equipment crossing it> I have been frantically trying to get the county to let us have an Enginer Ron Pargett fix and repair he bridge but the County has NOT allowed us to fix it for one excuse aftger another since Sepltember 21 when we were allowed to return home after being evacuated for 10 days. Our property was heavily damaged by the fire and all our trees were burned up just out of view behind us so there is nothing to stop water and debris from coming down the hill from our 40 acres. Also there are about 6 culverts that are bringing water from neighboring properties on to our property and into the two creeks that come through here. We just spent $20,000. for fencing materials and labor to replact part of our fencing that runs along Michel and Mountain Ranch Rds. No one has reimbursed us for the fencing and our insurance did not pay for that fencing either. So when my fence is destroyed and my 8 remaining cows that did not die during the fire get on to the road who will help us. So far no one has paid for our very expensive cows replacement. They were not covered by insurance and not by the ag program either. The creek is right beside the road and there is no way folks can pass. Our bridge has almost completely caved in because the buttresses are badly cracked and damaged underneath. If you use our driveway to pass each other you will fall into the creek. The last storm took out fencing and the gate and gate post attached to the fencing.

Be very careful driving!! . Michel Road is a one lane road and with the weather this poor road is in some bad shape. I have to drive boys to and from School I have already seen 3 folks get stuck in the mud And there is NO cell service to call for help. Drive slow and be safe..

Instead of spending FEMA money (Our tax dollars) cutting down trees that don’t need to be cut down, which is partly to blame for all the run off, how about spending some of that money to maintain the damn roads!
