Month in Calaveras County.

6. HUMAN RESOURCES Approve a Resolution Appointing Nancy C. Giddens as County Librarian
pursuant to Offer of Employment effective April 2, 2016.
7. ASSESSOR Approve the By-Laws of the Calaveras County Deferred Compensation Plan
Administrative Committee.
8. PLANNING Mokelumne Hill Fire Protection District is requesting a fee waiver for a zone
amendment, conditional use permit, and building permit for a new fire station in Paloma; public
benefit finding required.
9. PUBLIC WORKS Approve a Resolution authorizing execution of an Agreement for Acquisition of
Property for Permanent Right-of-Way Easement and Temporary Construction Easement
“Agreement” between Calaveras County and Anthony R. Gangi, III and Pamela J. Gangi for the
Stagecoach Road Low Water Crossing Replacement Project “Project”.
10. PUBLIC WORKS Adopt a Resolution to amend Fiscal Year 2015/16 Public Works Transit final
budget and realign revenues and expenses for Transit pickup truck by $16,851, increase
revenues, and expenses for: two mini vans by $7,396, radio system by $4,486, and two Class C
buses by $1, requiring four-fifths Board of Supervisors approval.
11. ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE Approve an amendment to the Conflict of Interest Code for the
Angels Camp Veterans Memorial District

16. PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICES Authorize the Board Chair to execute a Memorandum of
Understanding with Tuolumne County and Dr. Dean Kelaita For The Provision Of Reciprocal
Temporary Health Officer coverage which shall begin April 1, 2016 and remain in effect until
terminated by either party
17. PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICES Authorize the Board Chair to sign amendment 01 to Agreement
15-10349 with the California Department of Public Health for Ebola Preparedness and Response
which modifies the Agreement term for the period of July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2017.
18. PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICES 1) Authorize the Board Chair to sign Amendment A02 to
Agreement 14-10495 between Calaveras County and the California Department of Public Health
resulting in an overall reduction of $4,612 from $1,059,022 to $1,054,410; and 2) Approve
associated budget transfers, requiring a 4/5 vote.

19. HUMAN SERVICES Authorize the Board Chair to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with
the State of California Department of Social Services to participate in the Work Number Express
Program for the period ending September 30, 2017.
20. CLERK/RECORDER Approve an agreement between Calaveras County & Martin & Chapman
Company for printing of ballots and related services not to exceed $83,000(eighty-three
thousand dollars) for the June 7, 2016 Presidential Primary Election. Election Code Sections
13000 and 13001.
21. CLERK/RECORDER Appointment of Applicants to Middle River Community Service District
Pursuant to GC 1780
22. PUBLIC WORKS Adopt a Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Works to secure Federal
Funding under FTA Section 5311 (49 U.S.C. Section 5311) with the California Department of
Transportation for operating Calaveras Transit.
23. PUBLIC WORKS Adopt a Resolution accepting the construction of Phase II of the State Route
12/26 (SR 12/26) Intersection Improvements Project as complete, approving the final Contract
Change Orders and Balancing Change Order, releasing retention, authorizing final payment in
the amount of $89,920.97 to George Reed, Inc., authorizing the Board Chair to execute a Notice
of Completion, and authorizing the Director of Public Works to execute Contract Change Order
No. 1A, No. 6, and No. 7.
