Property Owners Affected by the Butte Fire May Receive an Exemption from the Annual Fire Prevention Fee

San Andreas, CA…Property owners within the State Responsibility Area (SRA) have received a bill for “The Annual Fire Prevention Fee”. This fee applies to anyone who had a “habitable structure” on their property as of July 1.
Property owners who lost their homes in the Butte Fire may qualify for an exemption from that fee.

    Apparently you have to have had your house burn to qualify.
