Arnold, CA…At around 1:15 PM on August 31, 2023, Calaveras County Sheriff’s Department deputies contacted an individual who was operating an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) illegally on the highway. Further investigation led to the discovery that the ATV had been stolen from a location in Arnold in the previous month. A subsequent search of the suspect, Skylar Gregory, age 25, of Mountain Ranch, revealed drug paraphernalia, illegal drugs, and live ammunition. Upon further investigation, it was found that Gregory was prohibited from possessing ammunition, which made the possession of ammunition illegal.

Gregory was taken into custody and booked into the Calaveras County Jail on multiple charges, including possession of stolen property, possession of a stolen vehicle, illegal possession of ammunition, and illegal possession of narcotics.
