What Life Lessons Can We Learn From The Warriors 73-9 Season?

Oakland, CA…The Warriors made history tonight as the best regular season team in history. They also displayed lessons for the rest of us. Yes it takes talent and some of us start with more than others, but the Warriors and Curry have shown more than that. They have taken unselfish, team oriented, basketball and taken it to another level. The Warriors’ passing, defense, assists and creating shots for others are skills this team has developed into an art form.

Stephen Curry one of the best players of this era, is not a Wilt Chamberlain, Shaquille O’neal, Lebron James or even an imposing physical talent like Michael Jordan. He is a slight built, average height, baby faced basketball assassin. There are high school players that look like they could take him on.

What he has showed is the ability to take skills that have been developed by untold hours out of the spotlight shooting, shooting & shooting some more. Everyday when his friends were doing things kids and young adults do Curry was perfecting his stroke. He practiced enough to not only be as good as those around him, he practiced enough to consistently make shots everyone else counted as lucky.

Collectively it shows us that hard work, playing hard day in and day out and unselfish play are not only virtues in life but in this selfie age they can still be elevated to history making levels.
