San Andreas, CA…Go beyond dill pickles! Many other vegetables and fruits can become a pickled or fermented product, either canned for a shelf-stable product for year-round enjoyment, or without canning to be enjoyed in the short term. Join UCCE Master Food Preservers of Amador/Calaveras Counties on June 15th as we present a class, “We can pickle that,” from 9am to 12noon at the Calaveras Senior Center, 956 Mountain Ranch Road in San Andreas. Cost is $5 payable by cash or check made out to UC Regents. Pre-registration is recommended at https://ucanr.edu/june2024-mfpclass Walk-ins are also welcome.
