Copperopolis, CA…Calaveras County Department of Public Works will begin repairs to a damaged section of guardrail on the O’Byrnes Ferry Road Bridge beginning Monday, October 28, 2024.  The location of the damage is in the east-bound lane on the Tuolumne County side where the bridge curves and meets the roadway.

Traffic will be reduced to one lane on the bridge.  Advanced signage, portable transverse rumble strips and flaggers will be used to control traffic.  Expect delays of up to 10 minutes while construction is occurring.  Work is expected to be complete by November 8, 2024.
