Copperopolis, CA…On July 5, 2016, at approximately 1650 hours, a Copperopolis woman was driving her Jeep southbound on Little John Rd. and slowing to make a right turn onto Bow Dr. Another Copperopolis woman was driving her Scion northbound on Little John Rd. towards the Jeep at an undetermined speed. There was a blue Mazda 6 parked on the east shoulder of Little John Rd., north of Bow Dr. 5 People were seated in a silver Camry that was parked to the rear of another vehicle. The Jeep made a left turn into the path of the Scion. The Scion was unable to stop in time and the front of the Jeep collided with the front of the Scion. The collision caused the Jeep to overturn and come to rest on its roof, on the north west corner of the intersection. The Scion traveled to the right and collided with the two parked vehicles. Alcohol was not suspected to be a factor in this collision.

Two parties in the Scion were medi-flighted to Memorial Hospital with major & moderate injuries.

Vehicle #3 had 2 additional passengers:
-Savannah Nunez, 16 y/o, Female, Safety Equip used, Angels Camp, Minor injuries, not transported
-Madison Brewer, 15 y/o, Female, Safety Equip used, not injured
