San Andreas, CA…The San Andreas Community Covenant Church (http://saccc.net/) has called Kevin Diamond to be their new senior pastor. Pastor Diamond comes with a wealth of experience working within church ministry, having spent the last nine years at Faith Covenant Church (Columbus, OH) where Pastor Diamond served as the Associate & Youth Pastor. Completing his Masters of Divinity from North Park Theological Seminary Pastor Diamond entered into the call process of the Evangelical Covenant Church which brought him into conversations with the Senior Pastor Search Committee of SACCC. Pastor Diamond preached his first sermon as senior pastor on June 12, 2016 and the congregation looks forward to his installation on July 31, 2016.

Pastor Diamond has a clear vision for what the Lord has in store for him here at San Andreas Community Covenant Church. He will lead the congregation to higher heights and deeper depths of understanding of the Lord’s Word. – Steve Airola, Church Chair

Pastor Diamond was hired after a thorough search process that considered many different pastoral candidates. SACCC has a desire to continue its focus on young families within the community. Pastor Diamond and his wife have a son who will be attending San Andreas Elementary School and a son who will be attending My Own School. This natural connection to young families was an important aspect to bringing him 2,400 miles from his hometown to serve the local community of Calaveras County. Pastor Diamond has a previous professional career working in Information Technology that brings another level of needed expertise to the ministry of SACCC. Ultimately it was the shared vision of wanting to be a church that focused on loving the local community in a Christ-like way that made it clear that Pastor Diamond and SACCC were the precise match.

Please join us at SACCC Sundays at 10 a.m. to meet Pastor Diamond before or after the Sunday Worship Service. Pastor Diamond many of the free community dinners that the church provides on Wednesday nights from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the fellowship hall of the church.
