Murphys, CA…Peggy Caccamo 90 passed away on August 16, 2016 at Avalon San Andreas CA. Peggy was born August 25, 1925 in Pennsylvania the daughter of Harry and Marie (Elm) Shane moving to Ohio as a young girl. She married Joseph Nard in 1947 and was married for almost 25 years until he passed in 1972. They had three daughters Linda Nard (Bob O’Neill) of Angels Camp CA, Marcia Fletcher (Scott Fletcher) of Niles, Ohio and Sherri Nelson (Darrel Nelson) of Angels Camp, CA.

Peggy later married Arthur Caccamo and moved to the Diggins in Murphys CA in 1995. Peggy was a member of Sierra Bible Church in Murphys and Garden Club. She had a passion for singing, gardening, baking, sewing, fashion and The Oakland Raiders. Peggy had 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Saturday August 20, 2016 at 10:00 am at Buena Vista Cemetery Murphys, CA with a luncheon following at Mountain Christian Fellowship 3488 E. Hwy 4 Murphys, CA
