Groveland, CA…On October 2, 2016, just after 10 AM, 59 year old Riverbank resident, Billy Trabucco was driving a 2004 Chevrolet pickup westbound on State Route 120 approaching Grizzly Road at an unknown rate of speed. Trabucco failed to negotiate a right curve in the roadway and drove across the eastbound lane of traffic and off of the south road edge of State Route 120. Trabucco’s vehicle traveled down a steep embankment and overturned, coming to rest on its roof approximately 400 feet down from the road.

Trabucco was pinned inside the vehicle where he was pronounced deceased. Trabucco was wearing a seatbelt and the vehicle’s airbags deployed. Cause of death and whether alcohol or drugs were a factor are pending on the autopsy.
