Angels Camp, CA…At the November 2016 meeting of the Calaveras County Fair board of directors, members elected their officers for 2017. President elect is Gay Callan. Gay has served on the board since 1992. She has served in many capacities including president and vice president.

Talibah Al Rafiq was elected vice president. Talibah has been on the Board since 2004. She has served as president, vice president and chairperson of finance.

Rounding out the executive team is Bob Trinchero as immediate past president. Bob has served on the Board since 1998. He has served 4 terms and president and is leading the strategic planning team for 2017.

Leaving the executive committee is Kathy Campbell. Kathy served asVice President for 2 terms. She is chairperson of the marketing committee and has been on the board since 2003. In other business the board under the direction of Director Trinchero began their “strategic planning process”. The Board of Directors meet the second Wednesday of every month except July and December.
