Sutter Creek, CA…Tickets are still available for Foothill Conservancy’s December 2 film screening of DamNation. Winner of multiple awards, including the 2015 Wildlife Film Festival, DamNation tells the story of diverse groups of people and communities coming together to remove obsolete dams in order to
restore native fisheries, outdoor recreation, local economies and protect tribal culture. The film starts at 7:30 pm at the Sutter Creek Theatre on Main Street, Sutter Creek.

A short film on the recent removal of East Panther Creek Dam in Amador County will also be shown. Event guests will have the chance to literally take a piece of local river history home as chunks from the East panther Creek dam will be among the raffle prizes offered.
