Bear Valley, CA…It’s lightly snowing ar 5am as the current system begins to head East, a pool of cold air will envelope the Sierra with a high today of 24F and a projected night time low of 4F!!!! 6″ of new snow fell overnight to bring the storm total to 12″ thus far…….Snow showers are likely today and we could see another 1-2″ of new snow before things get Sunny for Christmas Day. Daytime temps in the 20’s and night time lows will be in the single digits through Christmas Day before a return of warmer temps starting Monday and staying that way through the coming Holiday week. We are open 7 days week with 100% of the Frontside open plus out Mtn Ops teams are working at getting the Backside operational but we won’t know about that until later this morning so keep checking in.
