San Andreas,CA…The Calaveras Unified School District is holding a regular Board Of Trustees Meeting on Tuesday, February 21st at 5:00 p.m. On the agenda is the price increase for paid school lunches. School Program Regulations requires School Food Authorities participating in the National School Lunch Program to ensure sufficient funds are provided to the nonprofit school food service account for meals served to students not eligible for free or reduced price meals. There are two ways to meet this requirement: either through the prices charged for “paid” meals or through other non-Federal sources provided to the nonprofit school food service account.

The meeting will be held at the Calaveras Unified School District Administrative office located at 3304 Highway 12 in San Andreas. A copy of the agenda is attached below for viewing:
