Soulsbyville, CA…Last night just before 11 PM, Deputies responded to a home in the 20000 block of Bonnie Ct. in Soulsbyville in regards to a suspicious circumstance involving a man who appeared on the homeowner’s porch asking for help and claiming to have been shot.

When Deputies arrived at the home they found a man who had blood on his face and a gunshot wound to his left leg. The victim stated he was waiting for a ride at the Willow Springs Park when he was jumped by two males and was shot in the leg. The victim would not give Deputies any other information regarding the incident. Deputies checked the park, surrounding areas and talked to nearby residents. Nothing unusual was seen or heard. The victim was transported by ambulance to SRMC and flown to a hospital out of the area.
