Calaveras County, CA…Through “Care For God’s Creations” we are holding a Household Battery Collection for Earth Day. People can drop off old household & rechargeable batteries at following locations: (there will be buckets available for drop off if no one is present) St. Ignatius Church , Poker Flat Community Center, Sunday,April 23 @ 8 a.m. St. Patrick’s Church, 820 South Main Street, April 22 & 23 St. Patrick’s Church, 621 Sheep Ranch Road, Murphys, April 22 @ 5 p.m. & 23 @ 8 a.m. Our Lady of the Sierra, 1301 Linebaugh Road, Arnold April 22 3-5 5p.m, April 23 9-11 a.m. We cannot accept car batteries. So far we have kept over 10,000 batteries out of our landfills.
