Tuttletown, CA…On May 2, 2017 at approximately 8:30 am, 41 year old Elk Grove resident, Stewart Vincent Deluz, was driving a 2006 Honda Accord southbound on State Route 49 south of Wilcox Ranch Road at a stated 35-40 MPH. For unknown reasons, Deluz allowed his vehicle to run off of the right edge of the road and subsequently struck a utility pole. The impact sheared the utility pole. Deluz did not sustain any injuries as a result of this collision.

Emergency personnel and work crews to replace to pole have the southbound lane blocked. One-way traffic control is in place and as of 1045 hours, there is no estimated time of completion.
