Monica Latzen, 38 From Sacramento Lost Her Life On Ospital Road

Valley Springs, CA…Latzen was driving a 2003 Toyota Tundra, southbound on Ospital Road, approaching Live Oak Road, at an unknown speed, with Passenger Bonham seated in the right front seat. For an unknown reason, the Toyota traveled off of the roadway, onto the west shoulder of Ospital Road. Latzen steered Vehicle the Tundra to the left, attempting to get it back onto the roadway. Latzen then lost control of the pickup, and the Toyota began to spin in a counterclockwise direction, while crossing across Ospital Road. The Tundra traveled onto the east shoulder of Ospital Road, where it began to roll over. It then collided with a large tree on the east shoulder of Ospital Road. Latzen was ejected from the vehicle and she was pronounced deceased at the scene of the collision. Bonham had to be extricated from the vehicle by emergency personnel.

It is unknown weather alcohol and/or drugs were a factor in this collision. This collision is still under investigation.
