Mokelumne Hill, CA…Jared Salisbury, 41 of Idaho Falls, ID was riding his motorcycle with three other motorcycles southbound on State Route 49, south of the Mokelumne River. An Auburn man was traveling northbound on State Route 49, approaching Salisbury. Mr. Salisbury had just passed a southbound vehicle when he lost control of his 2010 Ducati Street Fighter. The Ducati fell to its side and he was ejected onto the roadway. Salisbury and the Ducati slid into the northbound traffic lane and collided with the front of an approaching Dodge Ram. Mr. Salisbury was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Alcohol and/or drugs did not appear to be a factor in this collision.
