Lake Alpine, CA…Anxious to get over Ebbetts Pass/State Route 4 for the season? Enjoy a ride with Caltrans Information Officer Warren Alford as he takes you behind the gate for a peek at the “Big Fix.” He’ll also show you snow at Mosquito Lake, the Pacific Crest Trail crossing, and other areas Caltrans is working on to get Ebbetts Pass open for the public after the epic winter of 2017.

Caltrans is currently paving and repairing damaged sections of Ebbetts Pass, with the expectation that the road will be open in early July.
