Alpine County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will have be using reduced speed limit zones on northbound and southbound State Route 89 (SR-89) from SR-4 to SR-88 for the Tour of the California Alps bicycle ride. The route will be impacted Saturday, July 8, 2017, from 12:00 p.m. through 8:30 p.m. Motorists should expect 10 minute delays and seek alternate routes.
