Nominate Your Favorite Senior For 2017 Senior Volunteer of the Year

San Andreas, CA…Nominations for the Commission on Aging 2017 Senior Volunteer of the Year are being accepted through Friday, September 29, 2017. This honor has been awarded in Calaveras County for many years and recipients are much appreciative of the recognition they receive for the countless hours they devote to the many, much-needed causes. The past two year winners were Pete Padelford and Laurie Andrade, both from of Arnold.

Seniors being nominated and honored for valuable volunteer services in Calaveras County are asked to be 1) A resident of the county 2) 60 years of age or better 3) an active volunteer, in any capacity and 4) not, a previous Senior Volunteer of the Year winner.

Those nominating the Senior Volunteer are asked to submit their own name, phone number and email address, the nominees name, address and phone number, number of years volunteering and the reason(s) for submission. Please be as specific as possible, listing all contributions, and do not use abbreviations or acronyms.

Those nominated will receive Certificates of Appreciation and acknowledged by District Supervisors at an October 11th luncheon from 10 am to 2 pm at the Dodasa Ranch in Burson. A donation of $10 is requested and payable at the door.
