Murphys, CA…We say goodbye to a member of our community. Derrell Pulis passed away 8/8/17 at home from complications related to Parkinson Disease, developed from his years of Military Service in Vietnam. Derrell retired Lt. Colonel from the Air Force after 20 years of service. Derrell spent a good part of his service as a navigator and finished his career as a financial officer at Travis Air Force Base.

Once retired from the Air Force Derrell helped develop software for Credit Union Accounting. This career spanned 20+ years with the software being used in Credit Unions today.

Derrell is survived by family in California, his wife Nancy Pulis, children Monte Pulis, Kelly Petrilla, and the families of Darren, Jon , and Stephanie Schuler. (including 10 grand children. His sister and her family, Brenda Pulis, live in Oklahoma.
