Calaveras County CA…On 9-11-17 The Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office Marijuana Enforcement Team assisted County Code Enforcement Officers with the execution of Marijuana Abatement Warrants which had been obtained for an unregistered marijuana cultivation sites. These sites were located in the 1100 block of Arapaho Lane in Burson, Ca, and in the 6200 block of Michel Road in Mountain Ranch, CA.

The abatement warrants were obtained after a civil hearing to determine if the cultivation site was within the scope of Calaveras County’s Marijuana Regulation and Registration program. At the conclusion of this abatement warrant, 977 marijuana plants totaling 2,600lbs were eradicated from the Arapaho Lane location where the property was found to have been littered with garbage and construction debris.

Additionally, 303 plants were eradicated from the Michel Road address where other possible code violations were noted for future follow up.
