We are communicating with the man in hopes of getting him to exit the building and reach a peaceful resolution. Update at 9:40 AM: The man is still refusing to come out of his apartment. The building the man is barricaded in has been evacuated. The scene is safe at this time and we are continuing to work on a peaceful resolution. Sheriff’s Deputies are on scene at the Oak Hills Apartment complex on Preston Lane in Jamestown with a barricaded subject following a call into the Sheriff’s Office regarding a disturbance. Please avoid the area.”
