Valley Springs, CA…The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has recently completed a $3.8 million intersection improvement project on State Route 26 (SR-26) in Valley Springs. The project installed a four-way stop light at the intersection of SR-26 and Vista Del Lago Drive to improve efficiency for motorists and enhance pedestrian accessibility for residents in the area.

The project also widened the intersection for improved truck turning and lengthened the left turn lanes on SR-26 for motorists turning left onto Vista Del Lago Drive. The intersection now includes three accessible curb ramps, a new sidewalk and pedestrian push buttons on new traffic signal poles.

Caltrans would like to extend our appreciation to motorists and residents for their patience and cooperation during the construction of the SR-26 Vista Del Lago Drive Signalization Project.
