Jamestown, CA…On November 26, 2017 at approximately 2313 hours, a 59 year old woman from Turlock, CA, was driving her 2002 Ford Mustang convertible eastbound on SR-120, west of Rushing Hill Lookout Rd (an area also known as “The Rock Shop”). At the time of the collision, the road surface was wet, but it was not actively raining. Due to the unsafe speed for the wet road surface, the 59 year old woman lost control of the Ford Mustang. The Ford Mustang ran off the north road edge of SR-120 (E/B) into the center median and began rolling. The Ford Mustang continued rolling until striking a outcropping of rocks and a tree. The force of the collision caused the Ford Mustang to come to rest on its convertible roof, causing fatal injuries to both its 59 year old female driver and 55 year old male passenger.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims family and friends. To lose someone at anytime is tragic but to lose them during the Holidays makes the blow even worse. Let’s be careful out there…
