Glencoe, CA…The sad notifications to family members have been made and the names can now be released. On February 23, 2018, at approximately 1515 hours, CHP San Andreas units responded to a traffic collision on SR-26 at Ponderosa Way in Glencoe. The investigating officers determined that Misty D. Levario was driving her 2013 Hyundai SR-26 eastbound approaching Ponderosa Way. Paul R. Goltz was driving his 1985 Toyota SR-26 westbound approaching Ponderosa Way and for an unknown reason, Misty D. Levario allowed her vehicle to travel into the westbound lane of SR-26 directly into the path of Paul R. Goltz. The front of the two vehicles collided. As a result of the collision, both parties sustained fatal injuries at the scene.

It is unknown if alcohol and/or drugs were a factor in this collision. This collision is still under investigation.
