Lake Alpine, CA…Members of our Calaveras County Search and Rescue Team participated in annual winter survival training around Lake Alpine this weekend. Our hardworking Deputies and Volunteers average around 120 hours of an extensive training regimen each year. They respond to a variety of search and rescue calls for lost or injured persons in off-road and wilderness areas of Calaveras County and provide mutual aid as needed to other areas in our region.
