The Tuolumne County Visitors Bureau is Hitting the Road

Sonora, CA…May is National Tourism Month and the Tuolumne County Visitors Bureau (TCVB) is celebrating with a Road Show. In years prior the TCVB hosted a Tourism Summit that took place on a single day, in a single location, limiting the number of attendees and participation. With a little bit of thought and restructure the TCVB decided to take their Tourism Summit to the towns of Tuolumne County. The Tourism Road Show will take place on three days at three locations creating the chance for more participation and attendance from TCVB partners and Tuolumne County residents.

The kickoff event will take place on Tuesday, May 15th from 9am-12pm at the Groveland Museum. Following events will be held on Wednesday, May 16th from 9am-12pm at Hurst Ranch in Jamestown and Friday, May 18th from 9am-12pm at the Lodge Christian Retreat Center in Mi Wuk Village. During the road show Executive Director, Lisa Mayo, and team will be presenting their latest accomplishments, efforts for the coming year, and new and exciting tourism trends. The event is open to all TCVB partners and the public.

Lisa Mayo shares, “We are excited to present our major marketing programs and share the latest tourism impacts, but we also want to hear from the community, so we will leave time for a town-hall type format for open dialogue.” The Visitors Bureau will be serving pastries and coffee. Keep an eye out for the upcoming event invitation to RSVP or call the TCVB office at (209) 533-4420 to RSVP.
