Bear Valley, CA…There was a report of a possible clue yesterday in the search for missing skier Tom Mullarkey in the Bear Valley area. He was reported missing on March 14th. The Alpine County Sheriff’s Department and Search & Rescue Teams were deployed to follow up. Unfortunately they were unable to provide closure in this case at this time and the search continues.

We struggle in deciding whether to post updates such as this. Whether it is best for the family and those involved to have it show up in the news again or best for them to continue their search for answers in private.

But in the interest of reminding the public that the search continues and the Alpine County Sheriff’s Department and Search and Rescue Teams are still working the case we thought it appropriate to post an update.
