Wallace, CA…Please take this special opportunity to thank those who help make our country a shining light of freedom! Support and sponsor the spectacular Field of Flags near the Calaveras County line along Highway 12 in Wallace. At sunrise on Sunday June 28, 2015, we will raise over 200 American Flags ‘For Love And Gratitude’ in dedication to active, retired, or deceased military, police, firefighter, or others who have helped to preserve our freedom and safety. A special ceremony will take place at sunrise for the raising of the Flags across from the Wallace Post Office.
Sponsors are invited to the ceremony. Flags will continue to fly until sunset on Sunday, July 5th. Each Flag is 3’x5’ flying from a 10’ pole and will be illuminated at night.
Your flag label(s) naming the sponsor and the honoree(s) will be sent to you as a memento of the occasion. An appreciation list will appear in the local papers. You may honor and thank those who serve or have served us by visiting our website and filling out your sponsorship form online and making payment by Friday June 26th.
