Eh… Bret Harte did this last year (and over the past few years) and tbh its a really REALLY cheesy experience, especially when they’re playing this over the loudspeakers as the kids are getting hospitaled away. Also, they had a dude DRESSED UP LIKE THE GRIM REAPER, who was just standing around looking depressed the whole time.
If someone stupid, after being told their whole life since elementary school, thinks that its okay to drink and drive, I say let Darwin weed out the idiotic genes at that point. Just like there’s a tiny percentage of people, who know full well that cigarettes will give them cancer, and don’t care. They continue to smoke, the value of smoking is more than whatever value not smoking has to them, some people CAN’T BE CONVINCED.
All in all its a good message but, its hokey, staged, cheesy, takes away from school time, and…. isn’t this a little too much? We’ve seen, millions of other non-drinking PSA’s, we don’t need one more, anyone at the age of 12 SHOULD GET IT.
