Bear Valley, CA…From the Alpine Sheriff’s Office…A reminder to our hiking visitors: When leaving your car to hike one of our many beautiful trails, please do not leave your credit cards, wallets or purses behind in your vehicle. Cars parked at trailheads are a common target of thieves who then go use your credit and debit cards as quickly as possible before you return from your hike.
