Sonora, CA…From the Tuolumne Sheriff’s Office…”Today, at 4:16 pm, the Sheriff’s Office received a “hold-up” alarm from the BBVA Compass Bank, located in the Junction Shopping Center on Mono Way in Sonora. The alarm was accompanied by multiple 911 calls providing information. Sheriff’s deputies arrived on scene within minutes to find the suspect still inside the bank.
29-year-old Kyle Lee Hoover of La Grange, was arrested and taken into custody by the responding deputies. Hoover who is currently on Tuolumne County Probation, had approximately 5K dollars of the bank’s money in his possession.
