San Andreas, CA…From the Calaveras Sheriff’s Office…”The Calaveras County Search and Rescue team held its annual awards event on Saturday, August 25th. The dedicated men and women of the Calaveras SAR Team have responded to 9 searches so far in 2018, with 300 search “man” hours and 1500 total “man” hours. In 2017, they completed a total of 18 searches with 640 search “man” hours and 1620 total “man” hours. In 2016, they completed 19 searches with 770 search “man” hours and 2550 total “man” hour. All current and former members are greatly appreciated!
