St. Matthew’s Donates $2,500 & Holding New Equipment Fundraiser for San Andreas Fire

San Andreas, CA…St Matthew’s started off the fundraising by donating $2,500 to the San Andreas Fire Department. They will also be holding a fundraiser is Nov. 10th From noon to 7pm (They will stay longer if they have people still coming in) The location will be St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church 414 Oak Street San Andreas. This fundraiser is for equipment that the Fire Department needs to assist the entire county.

The equipment items are:

Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) filling station that would be installed at the San Andreas Fire Protection District Station. (Approximate cost for this is $50,000, not including installation)

Skid Unit which turns a pickup truck into a fire suppression unit. The skid unit slides into the bed of a pickup truck, it has a pump, water tank, foam tank, hose reels all attached. (Approximate cost for this is $15,000)
