Yosemite, CA….From the National Park Service…”Here in Yosemite National Park, employees provide law enforcement, EMS, search and rescue, and fire fighting efforts. We are so grateful to have an outstanding staff of dedicated first responders protecting this park! On Thursday, the US Postal Service honored first responders from Yosemite, CAL FIRE, and the U.S. Forest Service at a special ceremony in Yosemite National Park in front of the Yosemite Valley Post Office. Featured speakers included Kelly Martin, Eric Scott, Nancy Koerperich, Craig Balbalian, and USPS representatives. In September the USPS released the Honoring First Responders Forever stamp, shown in the photos.
