Murphys, CA…The Vineyard Tour is an educational program and is open to the public. Only once a year do we have the opportunity to visit this many of the most interesting vineyards in Calaveras County and to have commentary from UC experts at each stop. Vineyard managers and winemakers working with these sites will discuss the challenges and successes while we sip the proprietary wines. The event concludes with the annual “Growers Barbecue” where we discuss the day’s events over locally grown and prepared food and more Calaveras wines.
The vineyard tour registration fee is $20/person and includes lunch. Shuttle service is available during the tour for an additional $30 per person (limited to 24 passengers). Reservations are required for the Vineyard Tour, shuttle service and the BBQ. Registration and reservations must be made no later than July 17 by calling the CWA office 209 728-9467 or calaveraswines@att.net . The BBQ cost is $45/person and $80 per couple. Please pay in advance when you reserve your space. Credit cards can be taken over the phone or checks may be mailed in to the office. You are not registered for the event until you have received confirmation of your payment.
Guests & Home winemakers are encouraged to bring wine to share with friends!
Remember hat, sunscreen, and water! No dogs, please.
