Arnold, CA…Stop by Calaveras Humane Society’s Thrift Store Cat Adoption Center in Arnold, located in Meadowmont Center next to Big Trees Market, open Thurs. through Sat., 10 am–5 pm. Come in and meet Remi & Ruger. These youngsters are not quite ready for adoption yet, but they can be reserved! Lots of other kitties will also be available to meet you! We will also have a whole lotta lovin’ kitties available at our Angels Camp Adoption Center, located in Angels Town Center (240 S. Main St./Hwy 49), open Thurs/Fri, 10 am–5 pm, and Saturday, 11 am–5pm. Come in and meet the kitties!

REMI & RUGER: These brown tabby siblings love to hug each other when they are sleeping together. They are used to their foster family but when it comes to being around unfamiliar people, they are on the shy side. They are slowly blooming as each day passes. They love to be brushed with a toothbrush!

REMI is the medium-haired sister of the two. She is turning out to be a sweetheart. She just loves to play hard. She enjoys playing with the 3-level chase ball toy and with the laser toy. She chases her tail around too. When she is not bossing Remi around, she likes to look at herself in the mirror and tries to jump into the mirror.

RUGER is the short-haired brother. He is just a sweetheart. He is very playful and loves to play constantly. Ruger, like his sister, has found the mirror! Ruger has tried so hard to jump into the mirror to play with that other kitten. When he can’t jump into the other side he will sit in front of the mirror meowing at the other kitten (his own reflection!).
