Sonora, CA…Thank you to all of our customers and the entire community for all their water conservation efforts. The District had conserved last month (July), 41% of water use compared to 2013 (water production data). The TUD Board of Directors voted unanimously last night, August 11th, to lower the water conservation reduction to 25% effective immediately for all customers based upon their water usage of 2013. Although the mandatory water restriction has been lowered, other water restrictions do remain in place.
