Sonora, CA…On Tuesday just after 1pm, 60-year-old Michael Hyde of Sonora was found deceased from a self-inflicted injury inside the Tuolumne County Jail. Upon discovering Michael, deputies rendered lifesaving measures without success. The investigation is being handled by the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Investigations Division and no foul play is suspected.
