Glencoe, CA…A 54 year old Glencoe woman was driving a Can-Am “side by side” off highway utility vehicle at a private residence on Three Cent Flat Rd. She was traveling northbound on an unimproved dirt pathway. For an unknown reason she made an unsafe turn to the right, causing the Can-Am to overturn. As the Can-Am overturned, she was partially ejected and the vehicle came to rest on top of her. As a result, she sustained fatal injuries.
It is believed that the collision occurred at an unknown time on 3/5/2020, however the collision was not discovered by the property owner until approximately 1:45 pm on 3/7/2020.
She was not wearing a seatbelt or helmet during this collision.
It is still under investigation to determine whether alcohol and or drugs were a factor in this collision.

Toni was a special lady, I’ve known her for 10 years, if I had been a better man , we’d still be together, she needed protection, and operating one of those atvs can get you into trouble. 3 wheelers are safer if you ask me

Toni was a gentle soul, and raised 2 wonderful children with husband Terry, of 30 years, who were high school sweethearts. Toni was born in orange county, ca, a true oc girl,,, to Tom and Betty wood. Toni had some abandonment issues as a child, but took life by the r err signs and left a very respectable and admirable legacy. She moved to Missouri a few years ago, but after 1 year, made her way back to calaveras, as she loved this place, and showed the most intimate communication with animals, she loved all living creatures, and I want to publically salute and admire Toni’s sweetness. She was sometimes accident prone, that’s why it just seems so sad that this happened, some say it wasn’t her time, but in the astrological zodiac, im sure it’s written in the stars,,, we love you toni,, so so very much!!! May your kind soul dwell in the house of love forever!!! We will meet agsin
