Bear Valley, CA…Dear Valued Bear Valley Resort Guests and Team Members, After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to suspend all operations, effective end of business day Sunday March 15th through Thursday March 19, 2020. We will make another announcement before Friday March, 20th. This time will allow our team to evaluate the situation and create the best management solutions moving forward.
We understand that this news will be upsetting for some of our guests and we truly apologize for that. Please know that this decision was not made lightly. The best interests of our team members, guests and community is our top priority and we believe that this is the right thing to do during this challenging time. We ask for your patience and understanding over the coming days, as we anticipate a high volume of calls and emails. Refunds or credits will be issued to those who have booked accommodation or purchased ski lessons and advanced lift tickets. Our Reservations and Guest Services teams will be reaching out to individuals directly.
Every effort will be made to issue refunds and respond to inquiries in a timely manner. We apologize for any inconvenience that this will cause to both our guests and team members. We, along with the rest of the world, have been taking things one day at a time. The spread of COVID-19 is certainly unprecedented and we are doing our best to adapt as the situation evolves. We would like to thank all of our guests and team members for an incredible 2019-2020 winter season and look forward to welcoming you back to the resort as soon as possible.
Sincerely,
Adrian Lund
Director of Operations
