Calaveras Connect Transit Service to Reduce Services During COVID-19 Crisis

San Andreas, CA…Calaveras Connect- Reduced Services Effective March 30, 2020, until further notice: Calaveras Connect buses will move to On-Demand service only, with deviations within ¾ mile of normal fixed routes. Transportation will be provided for essential trips only. These service changes are being implemented with regard to the best interest of the public, as it will help riders and employees avoid large crowds, allow for social distancing and aid in slowing the spread of COVID-19. Calaveras Connect is continuing with increased cleaning and sanitation on all vehicles. These decisions are based on guidance from state health and emergency officials.

Reservations should be made at least one day in advance, between 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., same day service may be accommodated dependent on availability.

Service will be available Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Buses will be available in the following areas:
• Bus 1 – Valley Springs to San Andreas, Angels Camp
• Bus 2 – San Andreas to Jackson, West Point, Mountain Ranch
• Bus 3 – Angels Camp to Arnold, Copper Examples of essential trips:
• Pharmacies
• Food: Grocery stores, food banks, convenience stores, take-out
• Banks
• Laundromats/laundry services
• Essential state and local government functions
• Providing care for others

We understand the effect this is having on our communities and will be providing this transportation free of charge during these difficult times.
