WW2 Veteran LeRoy “Ted” Dodge 1927 – 2020

Mountain Ranch, CA…LeRoy “Ted” Dodge, 2/26/1927—3/30/2020 WW2 Vet. Long time Mountain Ranch Resident, LeRoy Dodge passed away peacefully at home on March 30th. He was 93. LeRoy is survived by his wife, Peggy, four sons, eleven grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren. He purchased the Mountain Ranch property on the corner of Michel and Cave City Roads in 1978 and moved into the house he built on the property in 1980.

From 1988-1994 he owned and operated the Calaveras Tool and Equipment rental company in San Andreas. Until the time of his passing, his Ted Dodge Service made and provided display wine and olive oil boxes for Mother Lode and Northern California win-eries and olive oil distributors. He was a member of the Farm Bu-reau, VFW Post 2600 and St. Matthews Episcopal church in San Andreas.

He was buried in his hometown of Atascadero, California on April 3rd. Because of the current restrictions regarding the corona virus, no local memorial service is currently planned.
