Quincy Carol Camper 2002 – 2021

Angels Camp, CA…Quincy Carol Camper August 9th, 2002 – November 21st, 2021. Quincy Carol Camper, 19, of Angels Camp, California passed away on Sunday November 21st, 2021 at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital in San Francisco, California following a battle with Leukemia.

Quincy was born on August 9th, 2002 in Modesto, California to Alan Camper and Karen Deiro Camper. Quincy moved to Murphys with her mom in 2010 where she began attending Albert Michelson Elementary. While in elementary school she played soccer and volleyball. She enjoyed the arts in local plays, drawing and watercolor. During her years at Bret Harte she was a Varsity cheerleader. She always has a special interest in drama, dance and expanding her voice through song. Her infectious smile and witty personality shined through in the company of those who knew her best. Outside of school she enjoyed time with friends camping or on the lake, traveling abroad and spending time on the beach in North Carolina. One of her favorite pastimes was on-line gaming. In January of 2021 she was diagnosed with Leukemia and spent the last several months in and out of the hospital. During this time she showed so many how incredibly strong she was. She was a remarkable young lady.

Quincy is survived by her Mother Karen Deiro Camper, her Step-Father Rick Keith; her Father Alan Camper and his Fiancé Erin Bashaw; her Grandparents Don and Carol Deiro, her Aunt Kim Deiro and her Uncle Chris Deiro; her Uncle Greg Camper; Step-Sister Jordy Keith and her fiancé Cory McNaul; soon to be Step-Brother Ben Bashaw; and her cousins Kaige and Kylee Camper.
