Supreme Court Rulings Back Religious Freedoms & Separation of Church & State

Washington, DC…The US Supreme Court issued two rulings today that have broad implications on what the government can force religious organizations to provide or do that might violate their religious beliefs. In the first Opinion the court ruled that certain fair employment laws do not apply to religious organizations. In the second Opinion the court ruled that religious organizations do not have to provide coverage for contraceptive services.
