Moccasin, CA…The MocFire IC just gave an updated estimated of acreage of the MocFire. Currently it is estimated to be in the 1,700 acre range and 0% contained. With the heavy smoke and reduced visibility tankers haven’t been able to work the fire effectively. So the bulk of the effort has been on the ground old fashioned firefighting. They have has some assistance from helicopters.
